About Kat's Dog Walking and Pet Services

 Hello! My name's Kat and welcome to my Dog Walking and Pet Services website. I'm a dog walker from West Lothian. I'm fully insured, hold a canine first aid qualification and have been DBS checked. 

I pride myself on being kind and gentle always, only using positive, force-free methods while working with dogs and continuously studying and developing my skills.

Now, lets get down to how all of this came about.
In 2013, after finally convincing my family we should put ourselves through the joy, vet bills and heartache of getting another dog, i trotted off to my local rescue centre. There I met a young, red coloured Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Tye. As soon as we clapped eyes on each other I was instantly in love. 

What I had found that day was my ultimate team-mate. However, my team mate came with some surprising issues and I realised very quickly that having a rescue dog was a special kind of experience. So, I started dedicating all my spare time to learning all I could about dogs, their behaviour and how to help them.
Even though I had always wanted my own dog I had never intended to make a career out of working with them. However, I became completely obsessed with all things dog and just how amazing they really are.

My goal is to help every dog and dog guardian that I can. Whether that's helping to exercise your dog when you can't, or keeping them company when you need to get on with your human responsibilities. So you know your team-mate is always as happy as possible.
